From September 2025 through March 2026, Allstate is running a limited-time test in select ZIP codes across Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Texas to explore new ways of helping customers stay safe on the road.

As part of this test, some customers may receive a text message from Allstate about an open safety recall on their vehicle. The message will include a link to schedule a free repair at a nearby dealership.

This is a legitimate message from Allstate. If you receive a text message from us, it will look something like this. Here’s an example so you’ll know exactly what to expect.

Hi, it’s Allstate. We wanted to let you know that your vehicle has a recall. It is important to get this fixed. We can help you schedule an appointment with a dealership in your area. They have availability to fix it for free. What day works for you?

We’re experimenting with this approach to understand whether customers find this kind of information helpful and convenient.

  • No cost to you
  • Easy scheduling
  • Trusted repair locations
