Account registration
You can create an account through Account registration. Simply enter your full name, email address and mobile number as reflected in your policy to get started. You may need to provide your policy number so be sure to have it nearby. You can find your policy number on any recent billing statement and on your policy documents & declarations.
Make sure the first and last name you entered reflects what’s on the policy. If the issue persists, click 'chat now' at the bottom of this page to get help right now.
This means an online account already exists for the information you provided. If you do not remember your login credentials, visit Login Assistance to reset.
Logging in and passwords
You can reset your User ID or password through Login Assistance.
Your account will be locked after several incorrect login attempts. To unlock your account, you’ll need to request a password reset through Login Assistance.
You may have email spam settings or text restrictions that are preventing Allstate from emailing or texting you. Double check your settings to make sure you can receive our password reset emails or text messages.
If the issue persists, please chat with a representative for support.
To keep your account and information secure, we now require a unique password that has not been used previously.
Make sure the information you enter matches what appears on your policy. Saved data on your browser can also cause this error so be sure to clear your browser cookies and try again. If the issue persists, please click 'chat now’ at the bottom of this page.
To get a new password reset link, please request a password reset through Login Assistance.
Use the most recent password reset email. If you request more than one, the previous link will no longer work.
Make sure that you have signal and are receiving other text messages. If you still don’t receive the text, try using another retrieval method in Login Assistance. If you do not have a mobile number on file with us, you will need to use a different user ID retrieval method.
Allstate has introduced this feature as an extra layer of protection to help keep your account and information secure.
My Account may not support the country that you are logging in from. If you need to make a payment, please call our automated payment system at 800-901-1732.
Account profile
To update your email address or phone number:
- Log in to your account and navigate to settings from the menu.
- Select 'Profile' and under Contact information, click 'Edit' and update the email address or phone number as needed.
To update your User ID or password:
- Log in to your account and navigate to settings from the menu.
- Select 'Profile' and under Login and security, click 'Edit' and update the User ID or password as needed.
Navigating My Account
Once logged in to your account, click My agent from the menu. Your agent’s details will appear in the dropdown.
You can see the amount you owe for each policy on the home page and the Payment Center.
You will be able to find the following documents in My Account:
- Temporary ID Cards
- ID Cards
- Declaration pages
- Billing and Payment Schedule information
Insurance Binders, also known as Service Requests, can also be found by logging into My Account. Once logged in, select Documents from the Policies dropdown.

*Only certain life and annuity policies can be viewed in My Account.
You can choose to receive your documents electronically, such as: billing notices, policy documents and auto insurance card(s) in My Account. After you enroll, you’ll receive an email to let you know these documents are ready to view online.
For paperless billing, you can select eBill in your Paperless Settings to manage your bills and you can also set notifications for payment reminders by email or text.
For paperless policies, ePolicy allows you to manage your policy documents, auto insurance card(s) and claim documents by email.
eSignature
You can quickly eSign documents by logging into My Account. Note, though, that eSign documents cannot be completed on our Allstate Mobile App. Once logged in, click the 'eSign/Upload Your Documents' link in the banner. When reviewing the eSignature page, you'll see a green check mark next to each document that you have eSigned, uploaded and/or reviewed.
If the banner does not show, click the “eSign/Upload Your Documents” link under your policy number on the My Account home screen.
Log into My Account and select 'Policies' from the top menu bar and click 'Documents' to view. eSign documents cannot be completed on our Allstate Mobile App.
If you need help or need to make any changes to your documents, call (866) 404-0341. A representative will be happy to assist while you complete the eSignature process.
Service notifications
Visit our notification settings page. If you don't see your mobile phone number listed:
- Add a phone number we can text notifications to.
- Select which type of communications you'd like to receive.
- Once you agree to the terms & conditions, you'll get a message on your phone confirming your enrollment.
Note: You must respond to this prompt by replying "Y" within 72 hours. After 72 hours, you’ll need to request a new prompt from the yellow alert panel at the top of the Notification Settings page.
You can change your communication preferences for Allstate's text or email notifications from the My Account notification settings.
You can unenroll from Allstate's text or email notifications on the Allstate's My Account notifications page by deselecting all communication preferences. You can also unenroll by texting STOP to any communications you receive from our texting service.
Note: You cannot unenroll from billing and payment status alert emails that require your immediate attention.
