What to expect during the claims process

    Once you file a claim, you'll get a claim number to track your claim.

  2. Claim investigation

    We may need to look into the details of your loss. If so, one of our claim professionals will walk you through the process and answer your questions.

  3. Damage assessment

    We will guide you with estimate and repair choices, so we can help assess your damage in the best way possible.

  4. Review your estimate

    Once you have an estimate to repair damage, you will receive information on your settlement and next steps. Your settlement is based on your policy's terms and coverage.

  5. Wrap up your claim

    Allstate may send your claim payment and can answer any questions you have.
