Android no longer provides updates for the Android 9 operating system. This means the Allstate® app will also no longer be supported on Android 9 starting 3/27/24. Here are some frequently asked questions to help you understand how this will affect Drivewise and other app features if you remain on Android 9.
Android no longer provides updates for the Android 9 operating system. This means the Allstate® app will also no longer be supported on Android 9 starting 3/27/24. If you update your Android operating system, you will not experience any issues.
You will not be able to use the Allstate® app and its features, including Drivewise, starting 3/27/24.
Taking trips with Drivewise is a requirement of maintaining your policy discount and savings. If you remain on Android 9, you will be unable to record Drivewise trips. To continue enjoying your discount and avoid unenrollment from Drivewise, we recommend updating your operating system.
If you're also using the app for your ID card, payment or other features, you will no longer be able to use the app, including any of its features starting 3/27/24.
If you remain on Android 9, you will not have access to the Allstate® app or any of its features starting on 3/27/24.
You can find your ID card by logging into myaccount.allstate.com using the same username and password you used for the app.
You can make payments by logging into myaccount.allstate.com using the same username and password you used for the app.
You can find your Milewise activity by logging into myaccount.allstate.com using the same username and password you used for the app. In the Overview section, next to your Milewise policy, select the Milewise link to view your Milewise Weekly Summary.
You can find your policy information by logging into myaccount.allstate.com using the same username and password you used for the app.
These features are unique to Allstate® app and cannot be used if you remain on Android 9.
