John Healy — Managing Director — Allstate Northern Ireland
John joined Allstate NI in January 2016 as Managing Director responsible for over 2,300 employees based in Allstate NI's three locations in Belfast, L'Derry and Strabane.
John joins Allstate Northern Ireland from CITI where he recently served as Head of their Belfast Service Center providing IT, operations, HR, legal, finance and risk services to the broader Citi group as one of 27 global delivery centers.
Before serving in this position, John held senior management roles as head of technology and as a business unit manager for CITI. John also has extensive experience in leading teams to set strategic goals and deliver practical solutions to address business and technology issues. These capabilities were built over many years working in senior leadership roles at Grafton Recruitment, Liberty IT, J P Morgan Chase, St George Bank Treasury and Merrill Lynch.
John has developed very strong relationships with the local Universities and Invest NI and serves in a variety of industry, university and community settings including the board of the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and the Professional Advisory Board, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at Queen's University Belfast to name but a few. John earned his bachelors and masters degrees in Engineering and Computer Science from Queen's University Belfast.
Rose Kelly — Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer
Rose is a senior member of the Allstate leadership team and a key contributor to high-level business strategy and policy. She commenced employment with Allstate NI in January 1999, as Director of Human Resources leading the company start-up with MD, Bro McFerran. Prior to joining Allstate NI, Rose held a position of Senior Legal Advisor with the Fair Employment Commission for Northern Ireland for ten years. Rose is currently responsible for a broad range of business areas including Legal, HR, Training & Development, Workforce Solutions, CSR, Governance, Risk & Compliance and Marketing. Over the last 15 years Rose has been responsible for a comprehensive range of innovative people management strategies and initiatives across the three office locations which have resulted in Allstate being awarded over 120 highly prestigious business awards at local and national level.
Christina Bates — Chief Financial Officer
Christina Bates joined Allstate NI in 2000 as Financial Controller, becoming Chief Financial Officer in 2007. Christina has overall responsibility for the Finance and Accounting function of Allstate NI and the AIM London office.
Jim Bannon — Area Leader, Product Operations & Emerging Business
Prior to Allstate NI, Jim was employed by NevadeTele.com, IMRGlobal, Logicom and a Healthcare Trust, gaining experience in project management, web development, web hosting, eSecurity & communications solutions, bespoke development, document management, imaging and workflow products, along with various client-server technologies. Jim has been with Allstate NI for 12 years and has worked in various areas within Allstate NI, including Access Allstate and Cyberlife in Allstate Financial Technology and for ISG in WebFocus, Crystal and Business Objects. In 2007, he spent 6 months in the role as a Business Improvement Agent, developing Allstate NI's Innovation Strategy before taking on his current role.
Joy Chambers — Area Leader, Workforce Solutions & Talent Management
In her early career, Joy was employed by the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service as part of their management services team. She joined Allstate NI in 1999 as employee number 12, in the Human Resources department, initially taking on the role of Training Manager. Subsequent promotions within the Human Resources department include her appointment to the role of Resource Manager and most recently Area Leader - Workforce Solutions. In her current role, Joy is responsible for a wide range of resource related activities, including strategic resourcing and talent management.
Tony Mulvenna — Area Leader, Infrastructure Services
Tony started working in the IT industry in 1978 as a Computer Operator and over the next 8 years fulfilled various roles from Programmer to Project Manager, until relocating to the US in early 1997. During a stay of five years in the US, Tony was employed in a range of senior IT positions before returning to Northern Ireland in 2001. He commenced employment at Allstate NI in March 2002 as a Senior Team Leader. Shortly after, he was promoted into the position of Project Manager (June 2002). In November 2004, he became the North West Area Manager and, in 2006, the Head of Operations in Belfast. In 2007 he took up his current role as Area Leader for Infrastructure Services.
Georgina O'Leary — Director of Innovation, Research and Development
Georgina O'Leary is the Director of Innovation, Research and Development at Allstate Northern Ireland, a global in-house center with over 2,200 employees that delivers technology solutions to Allstate Insurance, the largest publicly held property and casualty insurer in North America.
Georgina has over 20 years' experience in technology businesses from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, and has expertise in leading and transforming organizations to become digital enterprises. Georgina has led university engagements, hackathons, and external engagements for Allstate as a highly accomplished technologist. Georgina earned a BSc (Hons) degree in Applied Computing from Waterford Institute of Technology and an MSc (1st class honours) in Innovation and Leadership from Sheffield University.
Georgina has also received honours from Trinity College, Dublin in their executive breakout program and added the art of design thinking to her skillset, which she is applying in her work to introduce Extreme Agile practices to Allstate.
David Wright — Shared Services Leader within Enterprise Test and Release Management
David started his career as a programmer with Parity Solutions, working in a variety of application development roles through the entire development lifecycle. He joined Allstate NI in 1999 as a Senior Programmer Analyst and has held a number of positions over the last 10 years resulting in promotion to the position of Area Leader in January 2010. He has worked in Allstate NI in the following Allstate areas: Claims, Business Engagement, Call Centre Manager, Product Technology, AFT, Investments, Enterprise Test and Release Management.
Sam Anderson — Director ATSV PMO & ANI Area Leader PMO
Sam graduated from Queens University with B.Sc. (Hons) Computer Science. Sam's prior career to Allstate was with BT where he enjoyed a variety of roles from Software Engineer, Development Group Management and then Project & Major Programme delivery as a Project Director. Sam joined Allstate in 2009 and initially undertook an enterprise wide Program Management role before leading the Mobile Technology & Connect Car software engineering area. Sam is currently the PMO Director delivering into the Infrastructure, Security & Architecture areas of ATSV. Sam is also the Area Leader for all project & programme management people in ANI.
