Strabane Allstate Brand Operations (ABO)

The Strabane based Allstate Brand Operations (ABO) team deliver effortless and efficient experience to Allstate's customers, agencies and employees. The team accomplish this by collaborating and embracing agility to transform process, design innovative solutions and prepare our company for the future. ABO is a large, diverse organization with seven distinct business areas: Administration and Real Estate, Agency Service, Customer Service, Enterprise Service, Operations Support, Sourcing and Procurement Solutions and Strategic Portfolio Management and ABO Finance.

The Strabane site has grown from strength to strength since inception in 2003, commencing with 38 employees, it has now evolved to a multifunction operation with close to 470 employees. The Strabane team serve many business areas, most significantly, Agency Services, Enterprise Services and Operations Support.

  • Agency Services combines all agency-facing, back-office functions and support areas into one team. This includes agency support areas in the Life Service Center (commissions, licensing and appointments and agency inquiries) and the agency services team within the Allstate Technology Services Center. This team provide reliable, responsive and consistent support to help agency owners and their staff serve customers as trusted advisors.
  • Enterprise Services drives operational efficiencies and enhances productivity across the enterprise, supporting customers, our agency force and employees.
  • Operations Support is focused on optimizing the size and scale of Operations to design and deliver efficient back-office support for our Customer and Agency Service teams.
This dedicated team strive to be the industry leading service desk delivering value by proactively making technology support easy for our customers, agents and employees.

Continuous Improvement

Employees in Strabane operate within a Continuous Improvement (CI) management system, enabling them to lead and contribute to their fullest potential, connecting strategy, goals and meaningful purpose, discovering better ways of working and delivering value efficiently to the customer. CI is enabled by a common set of tools and methods that improve how the organization works. It's a proven approach for improving the customer experience and business outcomes by empowering employees to identify areas for improvement and drive the solutions. CI also supports employee development and is providing service desk support analysts and their peers with invaluable problem-solving skills.

Leaders engages with employees regularly via monthly pulse check surveys and continuous listening surveys. Employees actively participate in transforming the work culture and have an employee representative group known as transformation champions who are dedicated towards making meaningful work experiences for employees.

The Strabane operation regularly acquires talent for entry level Service Desk Support Analysts roles, to provide world class service to Allstate agents and employees. Successful candidates are trained to offer first level technical support and work as part of a technical support team operating within a fast paced and dynamic Technical Support centre environment.
