Allstate has been a longtime supporter of college football, and has been the title sponsor of the Allstate Sugar Bowl® since 2003. In addition, Allstate also sponsors the College Football Playoffs, as well as the Southeastern and Big Ten Conferences—two of the premier college football conferences in the country.
The Good Hands program has enabled Allstate to truly get in the college football game. By working with schools across the country, the Good Hands logo appears on the field goal nets of 82 college and university stadiums, as well as at championship and bowl game events across the country. For every field goal kicked into these nets, Allstate donates to the school’s scholarship fund. Since 2005, Allstate has contributed over $3.4 million to collegiate scholarships through this program.
While your favorite team is winning on the field, Allstate is helping fans win prizes of their own. Our national college football sweepstakes kicks off at the start of each regular season and comes to a close at the end of the season. Featured prizes have included tailgate grills, TVs, VIP tickets to the Allstate Sugar Bowl and College Football National Championship Game and a grand prize of $100,000.
Each year, the Allstate team hits the road to tailgate at college football home games across the country. Each stop features fun games for fans, opportunities to win prizes and a chance to chat with local Allstate agents.
For 23 years, the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team® has been one of the most prestigious off-the-field honors in college football. The award pays tribute to a select group of student-athletes who have worked to positively impact the lives of others. The 22 players honored with this distinct recognition have not only dedicated their time to succeeding on the field, but have also made a commitment to serving the greater good of their communities. A voting panel including former Good Works Team members and prominent members of the college football media chooses the team.
Each year's team is comprised of 11 players from the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision and 11 players from the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision, Divisions II, III and NAIA.
Allstate is truly proud to recognize the selfless accomplishments of these individuals every year.
