GoodRide Retirement FAQ

On March 13, 2017, Goodride received its final update for iOS and Android devices. For users who downloaded or updated their apps before March 13, the app will remain on your device, fully functional, for as long as you keep it. To learn more about how to take full advantage of GoodRide this year, including exporting your data before getting a new phone, please read the below FAQ content. If you've enjoyed using Goodride, we encourage you to explore Allstate's most useful app, Allstate Mobile, today.

Can I continue to use GoodRide?

Users can continue to use GoodRide with limited functionality, provided that the app was downloaded before March 13. Please note, if you haven't downloaded the app or if you delete the app from your device, you will not be able to reinstall it. Certain features that require third-party services have been removed from GoodRide to ensure that the user experience remains consistently high-quality for the duration of your app usage.

I want to find gas nearby. How do I do that now?

The fastest way to find the closest gas stations and the best prices is to download the Allstate Mobile app for your iPhone or Android device. There, you'll easily be able to find nearby fuel stations based on your location and visualize them on a map so that you can get directions quickly.

We know you love discovering new Classic Rides. All the Classic Rides you love will now be made available online by clicking here.

What can I do to save the ride data I've tracked so far?

We know you love logging rides to the app and we've made sure that your data will not disappear. Please note that your data is stored within the application — be aware that if you delete the app, you also delete your ride data. Now is a great time to use the app's data export feature to ensure you don't lose your data. The 'Export My Data' feature is accessible from the app's navigation menu. You can export your ride and bike data into a spreadsheet format so that it's always with you. The following table highlights what data is included in the export.

  • Name
  • Make
  • Model
  • Year
  • VIN
  • Bike Name
  • Ride Name
  • Time
  • Distance
  • Start/End Time

What about individual ride maps? Can I save those too?

While the data export of all your information mentioned above does not include maps for individual rides, you can use the GoodRide app to email yourself individual rides. Each email will include a map of your route, provided the ride was originally tracked using GoodRide ride tracking feature. Unfortunately, maps will not display in these emails for rides you may have logged manually.
