Allstate is dedicated to empowering local communities across the country. Through various programs and events, we can help spread the good.
The HBC I-Owe-U program was founded in 2009 as a way to provide financial support for students of historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Since the start of the program, Allstate has donated more than half a million dollars in scholarships for HBCU students and institutions.
Participating in the cause is easy. Simply get an insurance quote from an Allstate agent or online, and Allstate will donate $10 for every quote—up to $200,000—to the Tom Joyner Foundation in support of HBCU students.

Each day we are given an opportunity to make a real difference—a chance to help make a brighter future and change our communities for the better. In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Allstate honors local heroes across the country who are committed to giving back to their communities. These hometown heroes are devoted volunteers and contributors to their local towns and neighborhoods.
