Refunds

In years when claims are lower than expected, a portion (or all, depending on the plan selection) of the difference between the group's anticipated and actual claims is credited back to the employer.*

Telehealth

MeMD® offers your members access to virtual Urgent Care for minor illness and injuries and to virtual Talk Therapy (Ages 18+) for mental health counseling services.

Urgent Care: U.S. board-certified doctors and medical providers are available 24/7/365 to diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication (when necessary) for many minor illnesses and injuries via phone or online video visits.

Talk Therapy: Licensed therapists can help with a wide range of mental and emotional health needs. Receive ongoing support, on your schedule, from the comfort and privacy of your own home via phone or online video visits in as little as 48 hours.

Wellness Program

The wellness program through Vitality® is available with most plan designs. With this unique offering, together with the Self-Funded Program, employees can get healthier, while enhancing and protecting their lives. When plan members do healthy right, they can lower their health care expenses.

Vitality Quick Facts:

  • 15 - 19.5% lower claims for highly engaged members.
  • 90% of members say Vitality improves their workplace culture.
  • 93% members feel the program has helped improve aspects of their health and well-being.

Activity Tracker Credit

Activity Tracker Credit is an innovative program that allows plan members to connect their fitness devices, such as Fitbit® activity trackers and Apple's Health app, to Allstate Benefits at the time of application. When plan members connect their devices, employers can save a percentage on their health care costs!

Provider search tools

Researching health care providers can help save on costs and empower patients to select the provider that best fits their needs. With the Self-Funded Program through Allstate Benefits, members have multiple ways to search and explore provider options.

  • Smart Match (Powered by Amino)
Plans with the Aetna Signature Administrators® PPO network have access to Smart Match. Smart Match Provider Navigation helps members find the highest-quality providers with the best prices.
  • Healthcare Bluebook™. Our reference-based pricing plan designs include Healthcare Bluebook. Healthcare Bluebook is a cost and quality navigation tool to help members access quality health care at a fair price. With this easy-to-use tool, plan members can shop around for low-cost, high-quality providers.
  • Network search tools. In addition to our transparency tools, all of the networks available with our program have provider searches available for members. These can filter in-network providers by location, specialty, and more.
