Ethics & Compliance

Allstate is committed to operating its business with honesty, integrity and the highest level of ethical conduct. These values are embraced at every level of the organization. Allstate delivers online ethical leadership training and a leadership development workshop. Leaders are also trained on how to use an Ethical Decision-Making Toolkit to lead their work teams in customized ethical dilemmas. Every other year, Allstate employees are required to acknowledge understanding and compliance with our Corporate Code of Ethics and other applicable company policies. These cover topics such as integrity, conflict of interest, asset protection, sexual harassment, insider trading, antitrust compliance and privacy, among others.

Corporate Ethics and Compliance Office

Led by an elected senior-level officer and two staff members, this function provides for consistent ethics and compliance efforts across the company so that Allstate can continue to operate with the highest level of integrity.

Ethics and Integrity Education for Employees and Agency Staff

Allstate delivers required courses to employees and agency staff through Allstate’s internal online Learning Resource Network, including Ethics & Integrity Education for the Agency Distribution Force, Allstate’s Code of Ethics for new employees and Ethical Awareness and Decision Making for incumbents.
