Corporate Giving
In addition to the work of the Allstate Foundation, our social involvement is expressed through corporate grants and sponsorships; through volunteer efforts of employees and agency owners in hundreds of cities and towns; and through advocacy on issues important to our customers and our company.
One example is corporate financial support for programs and organizations that create strong, vital communities. In 2010, Allstate made contributions totaling almost $5.3 million to over 120 organizations, including: Enlace Community Development Corporation, Genesis Housing Corporation, the Chicago Urban League, the Latino Policy Forum, the Center on Halsted, HACE, Casa Central, the Museum of Science and Industry, the Field Museum, the Chicago Children's Museum, the Bronzeville Childrens Museum, Congo Square Theatre, the Goodman Theatre, Victory Gardens Theatre, the Chicago Public Library Foundation, the Chicago Urban Debate League, the Chicago Children's Humanities Festival, WTTW, Rush Hospital and the United Negro College Fund.
