2010 SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY REPORT

Community Involvement: Taking A Stand

Allstate believes corporate citizenship isn’t optional, it’s essential in an increasingly interconnected world. We also believe we do the most good by focusing on areas where we have special skills or interests, and on communities where we live and work.

Much of our social involvement is administered through The Allstate Foundation. Funded solely by the Allstate Corporation, the Foundation has invested more than $275 million in funding in communities across the country to address key social issues. Since 1952 the Foundation has supported organizations serving communities nationwide, in the Chicago area (our backyard) and at the state and local level.

In 2010 the Foundation contributed $18 million to support organizations. Learn More >

Two major Foundation initiatives, Teen Safe Driving and the Domestic Violence Program, draw on our experience and expertise in auto safety and financial literacy.
