Allstate Insurance Company hosted its seventh annual Supplier Diversity Exchange on October 13, 2014. The theme of the event was: Pitch to Win.
Fourteen diverse companies attended, pitching their businesses to a panel of Allstate decision makers responsible for the purchasing of goods and services. In addition, there was a panel discussion: Marketing Your Company to Increase Its Reputation (Beyond the Money).

Launched in 2008, the Allstate Supplier Diversity Exchange was created to provide an opportunity for businesses owned by minorities, women, veterans and members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender community to build relationships with Allstate and Allstate's prime suppliers. It offers a forum for guidance as well as insight into the procurement world of large organizations. While attendance at this event does not guarantee business, since its inception more than 100 participants have had the opportunity to compete for Allstate's business, and over half have successfully won contracts.
The application site for the 2015 Supplier Diversity Exchange will go live early June. To be notified when the site is live, please email your company name, main contact and email address to SDexchange@allstate.com.
As an extension of the Exchange, Allstate also hosts quarterly webinars. These are designed to help suppliers increase their knowledge of how to do business with large corporations, specifically Allstate. The 2015 webinars will be announced soon.
