Allstate has been involved with college football since 2005, when Allstate's "Good Hands®" Field Goal Net program debuted at colleges and universities across the country. Each field goal and extra point kicked into the Allstate nets has helped raise over $3 million in donations for collegiate general scholarship funds. Allstate is also a proud sponsor of the Southeastern Conference and the Big Ten Conferencetwo of the premier power football conferences in the country.
For the past 8 years, Allstate has hosted the Allstate® Sugar Bowl® in New Orleans. This year's game is on January 2, 2014. In addition to the Allstate® Sugar Bowl®, Allstate has relationships with 24 post-season college football bowl games.
In 2013, the Allstate Tailgate Tour will visit over 45 college campuses. Each Allstate Tailgate Tour stop will feature local Allstate agents on-site and numerous interactive elements. At no cost, fans are able to design a poster to help cheer on their team, win cool prizes, and enter the Allstate Ultimate Road Trip Sweepstakes (at allstatecfb.com) for a chance to win: a VIP trip to the 2014 Allstate® Sugar Bowl® in New Orleans, LA and watch the game with ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit, followed by a trip to the 2014 VIZIO BCS National Championship in Pasadena, CA, and a new 2014 Buick Enclaveplus additional weekly prizes.
