Meet the 2008 Hall of Fame Inductees
Allstate has been a proud presenting sponsor of the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame since its celebrated revitalization in 2004. Many athletes were inducted into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame, such as Bonnie Blair, Janet Evans, Florence Griffith Joyner, Dan Jansen, Shannon Miller, and Kristi Yamaguchi.

With the addition of the Class of 2008, 213 athletes (including seven U.S. teams), coaches, and 13 special contributors to the U.S. Olympic Movement are honored through their induction into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame. Meet some of the 2008 Hall of Fame inductees.

US Olympic Hall of Fame

Brian Boitano: This three-time Olympic figure skater landed eight triple jumps to win the gold medal in 1988 at the Olympic Winter Games in Calgary.

Oscar De La Hoya: Nicknamed "The Golden Boy," De La Hoya captured the lone gold medal for U.S. boxers, winning the lightweight title in 1992.

J. Michael Plumb: This equestrian tallied six Olympic medals, including team gold in 1976 and 1984, team silver in 1964, 1968 and 1972 and an individual silver in 1976.
