How Can I Get a Flood Insurance Quote?

Did you know floods are the #1 natural disaster in the United States? You don't need to live near water to be flooded - everyone lives in a flood zone. In fact, nearly 25 percent of flood losses occur in low to moderate risk areas.* Learn the reasons why you may need flood coverage.

Your Local Allstate Agent Can Give You Flood Insurance Information

The Federal Government runs the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), which is why most home and property insurance typically doesn't cover flooding.

If your community qualifies for Flood Insurance protection under the NFIP guidelines, your local Allstate agent can provide you with information about your community's NFIP status and the coverage available to help protect your property. Contact an Allstate agent to learn more about the Flood Insurance protection that may be available to you and to obtain a flood insurance quote.

The coverage options available under a standard NFIP policy include Building Coverage, Contents Coverage and Replacement Cost Coverage.

Please note the standard waiting period for an NFIP policy to go into effect is 30 days from the application and premium payment date.

Excess Flood Insurance Information May be Available

In some states, if you purchase an NFIP policy through Allstate and find you need more coverage than the maximum limit provided by the NFIP program, you may be eligible to purchase additional coverage through an Excess Flood Insurance Policy** from your Allstate agent.
