Employee Network Groups
Across Allstate, employees connect with each other and build relationships through Employee Network Groups – organizations of employees with common interests that are officially recognized by the company. Groups are formed along special interests but are open to all employees.
These groups include (and are described in detail below):
  • A*Win (Women information Network)
  • PLAN (Professional Latino Allstate Network)
  • 3AN (Allstate Asian American Network)
  • ANGLES (Allstate Network of Gay and Lesbian Employees and Supporters)
  • AAWN (African American Working Network)
  • Allstate Adoption Network
  • YPO (Young Professionals Organization)
A*WIN – Allstate Women Information Network
Mission Statement:  The Allstate Women's Information Network (A*WIN) empowers women to realize their professional aspirations and drives continued positive changes in alignment with the vision for Allstate's culture.
Vision Statement:  Empowering women in technology at Allstate to achieve unimaginable possibilities.
Objectives:
  • Building Relationships and Networks
  • Increasing individual capacity for change
  • Supporting professional development & growth
PLAN – Professional Latino Allstate Network
Mission Statement:   To provide a forum where employees can develop and aspire to reach their highest career potential at Allstate.
Vision Statement:  To be Recognized as the Premier Minority Professional Organization in Corporate America
Objectives:
  • To identify opportunities to leverage PLAN membership.
  • To establish PLAN brand image.
  • To establish a membership that delivers a networking forum that is designed to develop its members.
  • To create opportunities for PLAN members to develop and apply their leadership skills.
3AN – Allstate Asian American Network
Mission Statement:  3AN develops leaders of tomorrow through professional development, networking, cultural awareness, and knowledge sharing.
Vision Statement:  Leverage the diverse experiences of Asian Americans at Allstate to create value that supports Allstate.
Objectives:
  • Provide Development, education, and networking opportunities to your membership
  • Contribute to Allstate’s business strategy/objectives, i.e. high performing work environment.
  • Serve as a diversity/workplace advocate.
ANGLES – Allstate Network of Gay & Lesbian Employees and Supporters
Mission Statement:  Promote an inclusive work environment for Allstate employees who support or who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender through education, networking, and workplace collaboration; and by encouraging an open and honest work environment and by helping the company if requested to better reach the gay community as potential customers, and employees.  This is to include further the awareness of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender issues.
Provide Members of ANGLES with an opportunity to network with other gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender employees in a safe and comfortable environment.
Encourage member involvement in community service opportunities available through Allstate.
Education:
  • To sponsor educational and cultural programs on GLBT issues.
  • To work with other GLBT employee associations to enhance the overall image of gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people within the workplace. 
  • To recognize contributions made by or for GLBT employees and their supporters.
Networking:
  • To provide a safe, confidential opportunity to network with other GLBT employees and supporters.
  • To provide support and service to GLBT organizations in our community.
AAWN – African American Working Network
Mission Statement:  To build relationships, network and form mentorship’s
Objectives:
  • Provide development, education, and networking opportunities to your membership.
  • Contribute to Allstate’s business strategy/objectives.
  • Serve as a diversity/workplace advocate.
AAN – Allstate Adoption Network
Mission Statement:  The Allstate Adoption Network is dedicated to providing information, education, and support to Allstate’s prospective adoptive parents and adoptive families of both domestically and internationally adopted children.
Objectives:
  • Establish a mentoring program.
  • Work with Helping Hands to create activities that would promote adoption especially during National Adoption Month (November).
  • Forward benchmarking information relative to other companies’ adoption initiatives.
  • Provide Lunch & Learn sessions that focus on adoption.
YPO (Young Professionals Organization)
Vision Statement:  To be regarded as the voice of young professionals at Allstate by providing a forum for young professionals to:
  • Discuss generational differences and methods to bridge the gap between generations
  • Engage in mentoring and coaching opportunities
  • Network with peers and leadership
  • Participate in developmental opportunities that will foster the growth of Allstate organizational knowledge and skills
  • Partner with leadership to assist in shaping Allstate for the future workforce
Mission Statement:  To provide opportunities for motivated young professionals throughout Allstate to develop professionally through networking, mentoring, and educational activities, while promoting a positive work environment by creating awareness and understanding of the challenges that face a multigenerational workforce.
