Allstate is currently working with the University of Buffalo to conduct a violence prevention and intervention program for teens in Buffalo middle schools. The program, referred to as the Allstate Initiative, will "inoculate" vulnerable students against violent and other counter-productive behaviors as they make the transition to high school.

The events of September 11, 2001 changed our lives forever. Allstate has partnered with Montefiore Medical Center to provide a truly novel program for disaster preparedness. The "Pediatric Program for Disaster Preparedness" educates people on the procedures and practices for use in mass casualty events affecting children exposed to chemical, biological or nuclear agents.

In partnering with Operation Hope, Allstate is supporting the "Banking On Our Future Across America" program, which educates youth on the basics of bank accounts and the importance of credit and investment in their lives.
