Storm hits Midwest with high winds, rain and snow
04/12/2008 3:15 PM CDT
A strong storm system trekking northeastward across Minnesota, Illinois and Wisconsin impacted residents in all three states with its high winds, plunging temperatures and heavy rains and snow April 10 through 12. Northern Illinois residents experienced powerful winds and downpours that overwhelmed sewer systems causing them to back-up into some homes. Consequently, claims notices are primarily indicating minor to moderate damages to roofs, siding, fences and decks, as well as water losses due to damaged roofing and sewer back-up.
