Santa Barbara, CA fire burns homes, spurs evacuations

A wildfire broke out in the Santa Barbara County of California, Tuesday, May 5 and continues to burn out of control resulting in mandatory and voluntary evacuations of thousands of people. Some homes have already been lost to the Jesusita Wildfire, but firefighters are battling to save thousands more. An Allstate Mobile Response Unit has been deployed to assist customers affected by the wildfire.

Wildfires erupted in the Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside, California Counties beginning November 13. The communities primarily impacted are Monceito, Santa Barbara, Yorba Linda, Corona and Sylmar where there have been mandatory evacuations issued by the Offices of Emergency Services.
