Who is the Allstate Catastrophe Team?

The Allstate National Catastrophe Team (Allstate CAT team) was formed to meet the varied needs of customers affected by catastrophic weather events, wildfires and earthquakes. Realizing that these potentially life-altering events would require specialized skills from our adjusters, and support management team, we've developed a unique group of individuals dedicated to handling catastrophe claims.

The Team

The team includes more than 400 members of adjusters, support staff and management. It's segmented into regional units across the country that can respond quickly to disasters, no matter where they occur.

Mobile Response Units

The CAT team has a fleet of Mobile Response Units serving as offices on wheels. These units are specially outfitted motor homes, ranging in length from 32' to 36', are equipped with office space, satellite phones, computer jacks, data lines, FAX and copiers. They provide a convenient place for those affected by a catastrophic event to file a claim, meet with an adjuster, or just get a refreshment.
