How do I apply for a job?
Go to www.allstate.jobs to view all of our current opportunities and submit your profile.

What's the best way to search for a job?
You can search jobs by selecting relevant criteria
in the drop-down menus. You can also search using a
job number or a keyword.
NOTE: You can search for jobs in more than one job field,
location and organization. After selecting a value in one
of these fields, click "Add..." and make another selection.

How do I create my profile?
It only takes a few minutes to create an employment profile.
On the Job Search page, simply click "sign in" and then select
"New User" to enter your information. Creating a profile
allows you to specify your preferred criteria so that we
can find future openings that match your interests. If you
have already set up an account, you can modify it at any
time just by signing in.

How do I view the jobs I've applied for?
Sign in to your account and click on "My Job Page" to view your jobs.

How do I check the status of a job?
Sign in to your account and click on "My Job Page" to view the status of the position.

How can I be notified about future positions?
On your employment profile page, check the "Email
Notifications" box. Once checked, our system
will send you an email notification whenever
a new position matching your profile is posted.

Is the online application compatible with any web browser?
The recommended browser for the website is Internet Explorer
6.0, 7.0 or 8.0.
NOTE: If you use Firefox or Chrome, you may find it
difficult to read the questions due to font size.

What if I forget my username and/or password?
On the Sign In page,
click "Forgot My Username or Password" link
to have your login information sent to your
registered email address.

What is the Resume Upload?
You can submit personal and professional information by
uploading a resume. The system will automatically extract
the relevant information and include it in your online
submission. You can review the extracted
information and make the appropriate changes in
the next steps. If you do not upload a resume, you will
need to fill out the online submission manually.

What happens when I apply for a specific job opening?
Any job you apply for is added to "My Job Page,"
and your application is immediately available to
the recruiter responsible for the opening. If
you are considered for an interview, a recruiter
will contact you to discuss next steps.

How long will my application remain active?
Applications remain active in our system for 90 days.

How long will the interview process take?
It varies depending on the role and the office.
We can't promise you an offer next week, but if
you have a competing offer and need to make a quick
decision, please let your recruiter know, and they
will do what they can to make sure you have the
information you need in order to make a decision.

I've already accepted a position with Allstate, why do I keep getting emails about potential job opportunities?
During the application process, we will continue
to send you additional opportunities to ensure
the best match based on the qualifications in
your profile. Now that you've accepted a position,
you can uncheck the "Email Notifications" box in
your application to prevent receiving additional
correspondences.

If I am not selected for an interview, will I be notified?
Yes, all applicants not selected will be notified when the position is filled.
