The NSEC staff is comprised of highly experienced Allstate professionals. They utilize various teaching methods to facilitate learning with an overall goal of providing each agent candidate with the knowledge, skills and tools to succeed.
How We Do It
Lecture and Discussions
- Presentations made by instructors and coaches set the stage for discussion and class activities.
Group Work
- Participants work in small group settings to further facilitate learning through sharing.
Elective Sessions
- Attendees have the option of enhancing the learning experience through participation in morning or evening elective topics.
Role-Plays
- Role-play activities are a major factor in preparing participants to develop their sales presentation skills.
Case Studies
- Working in teams, participants have the opportunity to evaluate a fictitious family's insurance needs and identify possible solutions.
Strategic Planning
- Throughout the education period, participants will have the opportunity to develop action plans that they can choose to implement in their agencies.
Education Facility
The NSEC has a unique environment for conducting a variety of Allstate-specific meetings with its four deluxe amphitheaters accommodating up to 170 people. All four amphitheaters contain state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment. The NSEC is located in Arlington Heights, IL, roughly 30 miles Northwest of downtown Chicago.
