A range of events focused on the key social responsibility pillars of Workplace, Environment and Community will take place throughout the CSR Week. As the official sponsor of the 'Prosper through People' workplace conference Jim Norris, Senior HR Manager will be on the break-out sessions panel and Paula Graham, Training Manager will be delivering a presentation on Allstate NI's Inclusion Strategy which will take place on 6th October at the W5 in Belfast.
'Prosper through People' will showcase examples of organisations that have developed outstanding employee programmes that have benefitted operations through cost savings or enhanced productivity. The organisations profiled include winners of Business in the Community's regional Awards for Excellence and the national Healthy Workplace 'Big Tick' awards. The aim of the conference is to share practical business solutions to engage and support an inclusive workforce.
Allstate NI has rolled out a formal Inclusion Strategy with the objective of "Creating an inclusive environment in which people can do their best work". Inclusion has been built into the strategic plan for the past two years as one of the key underpinning themes along with Engagement & Innovation. This presentation will cover the impetus behind this approach and will look at how it was adapted from a US centric approach, to one that is culturally relevant and meaningful to our business. Paula Graham will be delivering the presentation on Allstate NI's Inclusion Strategy at the conference.
