Allstate NI Win Gold
Investors in People Gold status represents the achievement of world class best practice. It shows a truly cutting-edge organization operating to the very highest levels of people management practice using Investors in People to drive the business forward. Allstate NI satisfied 192 out of a maximum 196 evidence requirements which is an outstanding result.
John Mullholland, IiP Assessor commented: "This was an excellent achievement. I found your practices have been maintained and improved but there is now a much greater sense of inclusion innovation and commercial awareness. It's a fantastic organisation with a superb culture. Absolutely top class."
This places Allstate NI amongst an elite group of just 2% of Investor in People organisations across the UK, to have achieved additional recognition through the new IiP framework.
In the true spirit of inclusion, Allstate NI hosted a Gold Fever Day on Friday 20th November to recognize and celebrate their IiP Gold achievement. As part of this all staff were treated to celebratory donuts and a dedicated recognition event was held for the 70 plus staff directly involved in the recent assessment.

Allstate NI is no stranger to success in business awards. The company has been widely recognised at the highest regional and national levels as a best practice employer for a range of people programmes led by HR Director, Rose Kelly. This is evident in the achievement of some 60 business awards over the 10 years it has been in operation including winning the coveted Irish News Best Place to Work in NI in 2007 & again recently in 2009.
Allstate NI regularly attributes its outstanding business achievements to the skills, talents and attitudes of its people. According to Bro McFerran, MD, "We continue to develop knowing that we have all the best ingredients to effect great change...great people!"
According to Paula Graham, Training & Development Manager who leads the Investors in People programme at Allstate:
"This is a great achievement, of which we can all be proud as it places us amongst the world's leading employers. We are delighted that everyone will be involved in the celebrations as it is a truly collective effort."
